Making Oobleck with grade 2!

6th grade was joined by our buddy class grade 2 for a Oobleck making class. Grade 2 is learning about states of matter and Oobleck, depending on how it is handled, can switch from solid to liquid. If you want to try it at home, it is very safe and consists simply of 2 parts corn starch per one cup of water.image

Grade 7 used common household items to extract DNA from strawberries. DNA stands for deoxyribo nuclei acid and it contains the genetic code of all living things.image

Ok, so I am at the gym a little while ago and listening to some music. I needed a little boost so I went on YouTube and played our favorite video. Write down what you think it was on a small piece of paper. At the end of the day we will have a raffle for a really cool prize.

Grade 8 experiments with how metals conduct electricity.

I thought that just giving notes on this would be boring...so they were asked to build models, make posters, powerpoints etc.
